RILA Breakout Session Information:
Circular Economy Workshop
Friday, September 30, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
A Circular Economy is an alternative to a traditional linear (make, use, dispose) economy. It is restorative by design and aims to keep products, components, and materials at their highest utility and value. Elements of a Circular Economy include:
- End-of-life product take-back
- Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings
- Facilitation of DIY, in-store, or third-party repair
- Used goods resale or donation programs
Stuffstr co-founders John Atcheson & Steve Gutmann, who have ample facilitation experience and a deep understanding of the Circular Economy and related business models, will lead a workshop that will educate participants on the broad range of elements related to the Circular Economy, and then guide groups to develop potential Circular Economy projects for an identified company. Results of the workshop will be made available as a download at stuffstr.com/rseccworkshop.
